Our portable Stage Platform System is offered in two models; the BASIC model and the SCISSORS model. These platforms are specially manufactured in Germany to meet some of the highest safety and engineering standards in the world.
Both models are fabricated of high strength aluminum extrusions. The tops are made from a solid hardwood core (lumbercore) with a veneer laminated finish. The extruded aluminum side rails have grooved slots used to attach accessory railings or skirts. Platforms are joined together using special fittings which easily slide into the side rail grooves. Each unit is capable of supporting a live load of 153 pounds per square foot. A standard size platform with a top surface four feet x eight feet will support 4,896 pounds.
The BASIC Platform System uses six removable legs of square tubing. Each leg is attached to the platform top by inserting it into a precision extruded corner bracket. A contoured nut securely holds the leg in place. The height of the platform is determined by the length of the legs.
Legs are offered in five different models: 1. Adjustable leg with polyamide cap - 1" adjustment for leveling platform. 8", 16", 24", 32", 40", 48" & 55". 2. Adjustable leg with wide felt bottom foot - 1" adjustment for leveling platform. Standard heights: 8", 16", 24", 32", 40", 48" & 55". 3. Telescopic leg with infinite adjustment - Sliding height adjustment plus additional threaded steel foot for additional adjustment. Standard heights: 16"-24", 24"-40", 40"-59" 4. Telescopic leg with notched stopper - Notches are fixed every 2". Additional adjustment by threaded steel foot. Standard heights: 16"-24", 24"-40", 40"-59" 5. Fixed Leg - Standard heights: 8", 16" & 24"

Heavy-duty extruded aluminum corner bracket
The SCISSORS Platform System is equipped with two adjustable sets of folding legs. The slanted and crossbraced design of the legs allows the platform height to be adjusted to several fixed heights determined by spring loaded stops on the underside of the platform. Each end of the platform can be adjusted independently, which allows for the creation of ramps (sloped platforms). Each leg is supplied with a pivoting foot so that the platform will sit squarely on the floor. Weight of the SCISSORS platform is approximately 210 pounds. Height of the platform with legs folded into the top is 8". Heights can be custom made to stop anywhere from 12" to 48" but are normally set at 12", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42" and 48". The SCISSORS platform is available with a hand operated release mechanism for adjusting the platform or with a foot operated mechanism.
