The Gerriets KABUKI system will drop virtually any type of stage curtain or event fabric in a fraction of a second. Durability and reliability, time after time, has always been the Gerriets KABUKI system standard.

The newly developed, electronically controlled KABUKI G2 System allows load ratings of up to 110 lbs. / 50 kg per release unit. That means 100% higher load ratings than previous systems.... a truly unique feature for a KABUKI System (picture 1).

In June 2007, the KABUKI G2 with G-FRAME 54 Control System was awarded "Best Product" in the "Event Technology and Service" category at ShowTech in Berlin, Germany.

The G-Frame 54 Control Unit’s product safety and product functionality are extremely well designed.

The KABUKI G2 System includes the KABUKI Release Units with a 78"/2m XLR jumper cable and the G-Frame 54 Control Unit including a 120/230 VAC grounded power cord.

Quick and easy installation is just one of the many advantages of the new KABUKI G2 System.

The system offers several attachment possibilities to accommodate almost any application.

• Attachment to release units via Carabiners, Zip Ties, Spannfix, Shackels or Tie Line.
• By turning the Release Unit 90°, a banner with a small diameter flexible tube sewn into a top hem can be mounted (picture 2).
• The optionally available "Kwikfix" Fabric Clamp (picture 3) allows the mounting of textiles without eyelets or grommets.
• The high performance release unit allows the attachment of tensioned, stretch materials due to its high load capacity. The release effect works reliably at a touch of a button !

The system is designed with a "Double-Check" function that verifies that the system is functioning properly.

A specially developed end plug gives feedback to the control unit that all cables are properly attached and working. A green signal light is activated when all channels are properly connected. A red signal light is activated if there is a problem. In case of power failure, the release units remain locked.

The KABUKI Release Units can mount quickly and easily to a variety of pipe / truss diameters via two different clamps. For load ratings of up to 22 lbs./10 kg per unit, the standard hook clamp is recommended. For load ratings exceeding 22 lbs./10 kg, we recommend our Doughty HD Trigger Clamp.

Each release unit can change position easily... no need to reposition the curtain or add eyelets/grommets to an existing curtain.

The Gerriets KABUKI G2 System will work with virtually any type of curtain or event fabric and is easily expandable when necessary.

The system is ideal for touring productions due to its durable construction and reliable operation.

The G-Frame 54 Control System has an elegant, simple design that translates into its new features (picture 1).

An innovative chassis allows the control unit to have three different installation options:

• Vertical mounting for wall mount applications (picture 2).
• 19" Standard Rack Mount applications (not shown).
